Avondale FC is very close to finalising their Youth Coaching roster for both boys and girls. However, we are still taking expressions of interest.
The youth program has a specific philosophy that all coaches within the club follow. The coaching group within Avondale FC is a strong team that work together to develop individual players in the hope of them obtaining professional contracts.
Avondale FC has created an environment for the youth coaches where there is a constant challenge, and have a specific belief that if we can have coaches who are keen to develop and learn then it will be a natural flow-on effect for our players within our program.
Youth coaches need to understand that Avondale FC is not in the business of developing teams. Instead, the coaching focus is on the individual which is a much harder challenge for a coach.
The youth coaching environment is essential to Avondale FC, and we will always look for coaches that will enhance that environment by being able to work with and challenge other coaching staff and deliver the philosophy that applies throughout the club.
The MiniRoos area of the club is significant to us, and we have highly qualified coaches in this area. It has become one of the club’s most important phase as we understand that without a solid foundation, it makes it very difficult for coaches when those players progress to NPL Juniors.
When applying with your Coaching CV, be sure to include:
- Your coaching and football philosophy (please note these two are separate)
- An age group that you specialise.
- Players that have gone on to play first-team football or acquire professional contracts that you have worked with before
(Do not use Ladder Positions and Tournament Success when applying. All applications kept in strict confidentiality)
Please send your interest through to General Manager Jarrad Denham (firstname.lastname@example.org)
