On Saturday 23 June, Avondale FC opened their newly renovated doors to be the newest football venue in NPL Victoria.

Based in Parkville on Brunswick Road, it would be very difficult to find a better location for a football venue, as it is only a stone’s throw away from the city center.

The new pitch would arguably one of the best surfaces in NPL Victoria and will only continue to improve over the coming months. Avondale FC has put a tremendous amount of effort in getting the venue ready in time to complete the rest of the 2018 season.

There is still plenty of work to be done around the ground as the first of three stages has been completed. New changerooms, kiosk, medical center, gym, members sports bar and a 450 seated grandstand are just some of the works that will be completed over the next couple of seasons.

The club is delighted to offer it’s members, supporters, partners, and families a place to finally call home and will continue to give it’s key stakeholders an enjoyable experience to ensure a lifetime love for the club.

Our next home game will be against Dandenong Thunder SC on Saturday 7 July. U20’s from 12:30, Seniors from 15:00.
